Florals - why does anyone ever say they’re groundbreaking? They’re on everything! But sometimes, like with this top, it’s easy to see why Miranda Priestly’s eyes would roll right into the back of her head. It’s beautifully understated and effortless with soft, puffy sleeves that frame the shoulder and a V-neckline that keeps it nice and feminine but not in-your-face-feminine. It’s the perfect example of an A-line silhouette with a hemline that’s just curved enough to keep things interesting. The pattern is reminiscent of a flower field in watercolour, and if you look close enough, you’ll see how each botanic is different from the next. The material is super lightweight and breathable so there’s no need to worry about any of those unfortunate sweat patches. It’s also got a bit of stretch so it can take anything you throw at it (metaphorically speaking) without sacrificing its shape or fit.
